We work closely with you to develop a personalized care plan and make recommendations based on your pet’s physical examination and diagnostic findings, while always maintaining transparency about associated costs. 

We offer a wide range of surgical and dental services for cats and dogs. Surgical services include spays and neuters, soft tissue and mass removals, oral surgery, injury and laceration repairs, exploratory surgeries, splenectomies, cystotomies, C-sections, GDV surgery, and preventative stomach tacking (gastropexy) for large-breed and deep-chested dogs. If your pet requires a procedure outside of our services, we can provide recommendations and referrals as needed.

Dental health is an important part of your pet’s overall well-being. We offer Complete Oral Health Assessment and Treatments (COHATs) for cats and dogs in our dedicated dental suite. Our modern dental equipment and X-ray technology allow us to identify issues below the gumline. All dental procedures are performed under general anesthesia for your pet’s comfort, allowing us to thoroughly clean, polish, X-ray, and extract teeth when necessary.

 At Parks Gate Animal Clinic, our diagnostic services offer critical insight into your pet's internal health. We provide advanced abdominal and cardiac ultrasonography with our high-resolution, 4D-capable machine to detect conditions of major organs, fluids, and tumors, as well as evaluate pregnancy and fetal health. Additionally, our state-of-the-art X-ray technology allows us to visualize bones for conditions like arthritis, assess the heart, lungs, and count puppies to help us accurately diagnose and treat your beloved family member. 

Diagnostics are an essential part of providing your pet with the best possible care. Our hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic tools that allow our veterinary team to quickly identify and monitor health concerns, often providing same-day results. We offer urine and stool testing, bloodwork, digital X-rays, ultrasound, blood pressure testing and monitoring, ECG readings, and more. By utilizing these tools, we can make informed decisions about your pet’s care and begin appropriate treatment sooner—helping them get back to feeling happy and healthy as quickly as possible.

Our in-house pharmacy is an extension of the care we provide, offering a wide range of medications to help treat and manage your pet’s health conditions.
